Hemodialysis / central venous / double lumen catheter

• Hemodialysis catheters are catheters that provide temporary vascular access for hemodialysis until permanent access is available or until another type of dialysis is replaced.

• Multi-lumen catheters contain two large-diameter lumens that are connected to the dialysis machine to form a complete circuit for the collection and return of the patient's blood during treatment. Intravenous offers two and three lumen dialysis catheters circuits for subclavian-jugular-femoral application.

• The radio-opaque, heat-sensitive, anti-bending PUR material with a blue soft tip coating guarantees high biocompatibility. It is extremely smooth and has a non-thrombogenic surface.

• The catheters are semi-rigid at room temperature and soften as they reach body temperature, thus minimizing the risk of injury to the vessel wall. It also allows the catheter to remain in the body for long periods of time.

• Intra-catheters are intended to be introduced percutaneously using the Seldinger Technique
